COLUMBUS, Ind. — Thirty-six Bartholomew County Democrat Party precinct members have selected Bob Hyatt as the next chairperson. Kathy Thompson will serve as the vice-chair, Sharon Kreig as secretary and Dennis Baute has been announced as the treasurer. The officers will serve a four-year term.
Hyatt, a long-time Columbus resident and Cummins retiree said, “Both political parties are very patriotic and believe in America’s greatness, but the Democratic party has a fundamental belief that we’re all in this together and we need to work for liberty and justice for all people.”
