FRANKLIN, Ind. — A joint investigation initiated by the Franklin Police Department and the Johnson County Prosecutor’s office culminated with 43 drug arrests Tuesday morning. Assisting in the six-month operation were officers from the U.S. Marshalls Service, Edinburgh Police Department, Indiana State Police, and Johnson County Sheriff’s Department.
The operation involved the U.S. Marshalls Service because some of the people taken into custody were outside of Johnson County. At one arrest site, the Tearman Motel in Franklin, reports indicate that officers recovered 60 grams of methamphetamine, guns and knives.
Police say 18 of the suspects are from Franklin, 11 from Indianapolis, 10 from Edinburgh and one each from Columbus, Whiteland, Greenwood and Morgantown. Those arrested were Clinton Douglas Johnson, Ashley Bratcher, Caprice Ashley Rowe, Matthew Knierim, Morgan Bowker, Charles Muns Jr., Sherry Goldsmith, Joshua Workman, Anthony Likens, Michael Elliott, Dustin P. Hadley, Sarah Hutton, Michael Cummings, Alyssa Caudill, Dustin Hadley, Christian Fields, Ashley Smoot, Cody Griggs, Christi Tilson, Deborah Kay Cole, Derek Darvon Clark-Moreland, Jessica Akers, Francisco Negron, Joseph Eakle, Daniel Johnson, Theodore Neese, Terry Sullivan, William McDermott, Jessica Rusher, Kristen Webb, Michelle Conglen-McLean, Jonathon Williams, Timothy Setser, Tiffany Meek, Dudley Cooper, Mori Grace, Tyler Branstetter, James Hall, Valentina Dennison, Randy Finch, Bryce Bullard, Dylan Whittemore, Gary Lunsford Jr., and Terry Stinson.
