FRANKLIN, Ind. — Johnson County Democrats recently elected new officers for the party. Edinburgh resident, R. Kevin Service, is the chairman, Kathy Stolz of Franklin was elected vice-chairwoman, Andrew Noga of Greenwood will serve as secretary and Norma Blake of Greenwood is the new treasurer.
“I am very proud and excited to lead our county Democrats for the next four years. Reorganizing the party structure here in the county is under way. We are not looking back but focused on the future and moving forward,” Service said. “There has been an exciting uptick in interest in the Johnson County Democratic organization, and we plan on harnessing that energy in our move forward,” he added.
Service is a retired law enforcement officer, former member of the Indiana National Guard and has served as the treasurer for the party for the last 10 years. Stolz is a former party chairwoman and is a freelance writer and editor. Noga is a records administrator and Blake is a retired administrator.
