CAMP ATTERBURY, Ind. — A member of the Ohio National Guard passed away during training at Camp Atterbury Friday. Official reports indicate Cpt. Brian Stillman, 43, of Norton, Ohio, was participating in a land navigation exercise around 12:30 p.m. when he suddenly collapsed. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. The cause of death is under investigation.
Stillman was a 19-year veteran of the Ohio National Guard and was the operations officer for the 2nd Battalion, 174th Defense Artillery Brigade. He is survived by his wife and two children.
