INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Superior Court Judge Jim Worton has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Judicial Conference of Indiana.
Worton will represent the members of Judicial District 21, which includes Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Jennings and Decatur Counties. The organization is dedicated to promoting continuing education of judges, exchanging information about the operation of the judicial system and providing a better understanding of the judiciary.
Members of the board serve two-year terms and are selected by peers in their districts. Worton also serves on the State Judiciary’s Courthouse Security Committee.
