COLUMBUS, Ind. — A local pastor has been accused of staging a burglary at his home in order to file a bogus insurance claim. The home of Justin White, 38, in the 3200 block of Sunrise Drive, was allegedly burglarized by a juvenile on December 18, and the thief got away with $11,000 worth of valuables and money. The police report says White supposedly arranged the burglary with the under-aged boy. Official court documents state White needed the money to pay a drug debt.
Investigators say White has been charged with insurance fraud and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He has been a senior minister at the First Christian Church since May 2011.
