FLAT ROCK, Ind. — State Road 252 between Interstate 65 and Flat Rock will be closed on Tuesday, April 4. The established detour will be I-65, U.S. 31, State Road 46 and State Road 9. Scheduled construction operations in Flat Rock have been delayed due to utility relocation efforts.
Columbus-based Milestone Contractors will also begin bridge work on State Road 252 over Lewis Creek and the Flat Rock River. The scope of construction includes substructure upgrades, new deck and rail. The work will last six to eight weeks.
Access will be maintained to all residents along the project.
