Suspicious package scare evacuates The Commons

COLUMBUS, Ind. –  A backpack left in a bathroom at The Commons caused a scare Friday afternoon. The Commons was evacuated and Washington Street closed around 1 p.m. after the “suspicious package” was reported. The Columbus Police Department gave the all clear after about two-and-a-half hours of investigation.
