FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin Community Schools will be hosting an International Google Summit in Franklin for the third time. On Saturday, April 8, and Sunday, April 9, over 550 educators from around the Midwest will gather at Franklin Community High School for the EdTechTeam Indiana Summit featuring Google for Education. The Summit will focus on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education (and other Google tools) to promote student learning in grades K-12 and higher education.
The event will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions and demo slams where teachers can learn from Google employees, Google Certified Teachers, education trainers, and local education practitioners.
To encourage Summit attendees to visit Franklin, Google pins will be placed at select locations around the city. Participants can earn prizes by tweeting pictures from each pin location.
