Phase 2 of State Street project set for summer

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Phase 2 of the State Street Corridor project is expected to get underway in early summer after the Columbus Board of Works received bids on Tuesday. Dave O’Mara and Milestone Contractors both bid under $2.2 million. Redevelopment Director Heather Pope said the project has garnered a lot of positive response from southside residents. Wave sculptures, architectural lighting, a brick path and new sidewalks will all be part of Phase 2.
