COLUMBUS, Ind.–The Columbus East Olympians decimated the Seymour Owls 63-0 last night in area high school football action, while the Columbus North Bulldogs had a bye the first week of the IHSAA football tournament.
North will finish the post-season without its head football coach. On Friday, the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation announced that Tim Bless has been suspended for all remaining games in the 2017 high school football season following his skirmish with an assistant coach on October 13. Originally, Bless was to sit-out only the first game of the state tourney on October 27, but the additional disciplinary action was divulged late yesterday.
