BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind.–Two Bartholomew County residents were arrested Friday afternoon following some wild driving on County Road 550N, near Marr Road in Columbus. The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department says the vehicle, driven by Cathy Olson, 60, of Columbus, was weaving across the centerline multiple times before the deputy decided to pull the car over. When questioned during the traffic stop, the deputy said that Olson’s passenger, Roger Leonard, 42, of Columbus, told law enforcement he could not remember his date of birth.
A search of the vehicle and the duo allegedly revealed both suspects possessed drugs and/or miscellaneous equipment for narcotics. They were both arrested and transported to Bartholomew County Jail.
Leonard was slapped with charges of false informing, possession of legend drug injection devices, and a previous Bartholomew County warrant. Olson was charged with possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
