GREENWOOD, Ind.–A young girl was struck by a car on Friday afternoon in Greenwood, and the driver failed to stop and render aid. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says that the 10-year-old was riding her bike in front of her house on Westbourne Court in White River Township. The young victim described the vehicle that struck her as being a “big grey car.” The girl suffered minor scrapes in the incident.
Authorities checked nearby homes to see if they happened to own security cameras that would have recorded the suspect’s vehicle, but have not have luck yet locating any video.
If you have any information about the incident or live in the Coventry Lane/Westbourne Court area and might have security cam footage, you are asked to call the Johnson County Sheriff’s tip line at 317-346-4654.
