FRANKLIN, Ind.–The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office along with the Johnson, Morgan, and Marion County Sheriff’s Departments, the Greenwood, Franklin, Bargersville, New Whiteland, Edinburgh, Prince’s Lake, and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Departments, the Indiana State Police and the US Marshals Service began serving 120 sealed arrest warrants for drug dealing on Thursday.
The combined effort by the multiple police agencies is a culmination of a 12-month investigation into drug dealing in Johnson County. So far, authorities say the sweep has been peaceful. No shots have been fired, and no one in law enforcement or none of the suspects have been injured.
In total, 136 charges related to dealing methamphetamine were filed against these individuals. Additionally, 24 charges were related to heroin and eight more for cocaine.
