COLUMBUS, Ind. – Republican Russ Poling, a Cummins Incorporated Quality Manager, filed Monday seeking the Columbus City Council District 3 seat, challenging Dave Bush, a Republican who was appointed to fill the unexpired term of former councilman Frank Jerome. Bush had already filed for candidacy on January 24.
Polling served on active duty in the Air Force for 20 years. The last day for candidacy filing is Friday, February 8.
