JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. – The 2019 Jennings Gala “Beach Party” made a huge splash this year netting over $68,000 for Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, a record year. Twelve Jennings County High School junior and senior contestants recently competed to become Gala Queen. Queen contestants Cassidy Birge, Sierra Eisenmenger, Annie Ertel, Ashley Follmer, Olivia Foutch, Lillian George, Ashleigh Lucas, Samantha Luedeman, Breann Mefford, Sara Morgan, Emy Ralston, and Abigail Vogel collected over $28,000. Ultimately, Emy Ralston was crowned Gala Queen.
Live and silent auctions generated over $16,000, which was again another record.
“This event would not be possible without the generous support of our Sponsors,” said Laura Leonard, President of Our Hospice. “We are so grateful for our Title Sponsors, Arvin Sango, Inc., Decatur Mold Tool & Engineering, and St. Vincent Jennings Hospital Medical Staff. The support of these along with all the other sponsors, benefactors and community members who join us every year, help us raise funds for the patients and families in Jennings County.”
