FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) invites local artists, emerging artists, art students, and creative community members to submit mural designs by May 10, for the Color the County Mural Program’s 2019 selected locations. There will be two sites this year, one at 249 S. Main St., in Franklin, and the other at 800 S. Indiana Creek Dr., in Trafalgar.
The Color the County Mural Program joins artists and communities through the collaborative process of mural making to create powerful artworks that can transform public spaces, neighborhood identities, and individual lives. JCCF will celebrate each work of art with a summer “Community Painting Day” where residents of all ages will help bring the murals to life.
