GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Center Grove Community School Corporation (CGCSC) Police Department received the Model School Resource Officer (SRO) Agency Award from the National Association of School Resource Officers earlier this week.
Departments receive the award for demonstrating creative and innovative approaches to school-based policing, while serving the role as a mentor, guest lecturer, and law enforcement officer. The Center Grove Police Department was one of three agencies across the nation to receive the award.
“This award is a testament to the dedication of our officers and the exceptional leadership of Chief Ray Jackson,” said Dr. Bill Long, CGCSC Assistant Superintendent.
