EDINBURGH, Ind. – Edinburgh Fire and Rescue and the Edinburgh Police Department responded to a one-vehicle accident at the local high school on Thursday afternoon.
Fire Station 41 and Medic 23 were dispatched at about 3:45 p.m., to a crash at 204 Keeley St., when a car hit a building. Crews arrived to find a vehicle that had driven through an exterior wall and into the Edinburgh High School hitting complex for the baseball team.
One person was injured and transported to a medical facility to be checked. The pole barn building sustained considerable damage.
Officials with Edinburgh law enforcement say the accident investigation is ongoing.
