INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced recently that the Indiana National Guard will be assisting the state as it continues to fight the COVID-19 outbreak.
The National Guard will help deliver medical supplies to hospitals in need as resources become more important to help fight the virus. In addition, they will be able to help sort supplies and package them to help hospitals who may be in short supply. The Guard is also working with the government to help address the state’s biggest needs, and how they can be handled.
So far, 259 Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19.
