INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Health (ISDH) announced Sunday at noon that in the last 24 hours, 1,249 more Hoosiers were diagnosed with COVID-19. Since Thursday, more than 3500 people have tested positive, a record for three consecutive days. That brings the overall number of Indiana residents who have contracted novel coronavirus to 105,804.
There was one new death from the disease, increasing the state’s total to 3,214 who have died.
To date, ISDH says Bartholomew County has reported 1121 cases of the virus, Jackson County confirms 721, Jennings County documents 303, and Johnson County has had 2,189 cases of COVID-19.
