EDINBURGH, Ind. – Edinburgh Fire and Rescue, multiple area fire and police departments, and several off-duty Edinburgh firefighters responded, at about 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning, to a working fire at Amos Hill Associates, on Shelby Street, in Edinburgh.
Upon arrival, emergency crews observed flames coming from a large machine within the building. With evacuation complete, they attacked the blaze and gained control in approximately 20 minutes. Firefighters remained on the scene for an hour after knocking the fire down.
Assisting agencies were Amity Fire Department, Nineveh Fire Department, German Township Fire Department, Seals Ambulance, Whiteland Fire Department, and Edinburgh Police Department.
