INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Winners of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Awards have chosen five Indiana libraries to receive $500 donations in their honor.
In addition to winning a $5,000 cash prize and a hand-crafted limestone award, winning authors were each given the opportunity to make a $500 donation to an Indiana library of their choice. A Columbus native, Melissa Stephenson, won for her book, driven: A White-Knuckled Ride to Heartbreak and Back.
“We received word this week that Melissa Stephenson, one of this year’s Indiana Authors Awards winners, gifted us with her $500 donation,” said Bartholomew County Public Library adult program services coordinator Mary Clare Speckner. “We will use the donation for adult programming.”
