FRANKLIN, Ind. – With many Hoosiers still limiting contact with others, filing taxes can be a bigger issue than most years. The Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) is hosting a no-charge program that covers who qualifies and what vendors a person can use to file their taxes.
Nancy Tyree of the Indiana Department of Revenue, Kate McNight from the Internal Revenue Service, and Dave Macklin with Intuit’s Tax Time Allies will lead the program.
The free tax preparation service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 3, at 2 p.m., and is open to any Indiana resident. Individuals do not have to live in Johnson County or have a JCPL library card to attend. You can register here.
