COLUMBUS, Ind. – All-Star Paving of Seymour was awarded the contract for the 2020 Community Crossings Matching Grant project in Columbus. Crews will be working on Wedgewood and Miami Drives, in the Flintwood addition, for about a month.
This week they begin saw cutting on Wedgewood Drive for installation of underdrains. Workers will next replace the concrete apron. After these repairs, asphalt patching follows, with overlaying starting later this spring.
All-Star Paving will also be installing sidewalks, curbs, and accessible ramps, in the Wood Lake area, on Terrace Lake Road. Lanes will be restricted from Terrace Woods Drive to Brookfield Drive. Terrace Lake Road is overlaid in June.
Once repairs are complete, crews will move to 13th Street and replace the sidewalk, curb, and accessible ramps from Lafayette to Michigan Avenue.
