SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County Public Library Board of Trustees met this week for an executive session.
Circulation policy changes approved include student digital access to the OverDrive app and eliminating overdue fines. Late fees will still be assessed on items from other Evergreen Indiana libraries that charge fines.
There will still be fees for equipment and items that are lost or damaged and will be charged after 28 days.
Old accounts consisting of overdue fines only and their collection agency fees will be waived.
