COLUMBUS, Ind. – The 2021 Columbus Farmer’s Market gets underway today, Saturday, May 8, and runs every Saturday through September 18, at 123 Washington St., behind Columbus City Hall. Hours are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
To ensure safety, organizers are taking extra precautions in response to COVID-19. Masks are mandatory when customers are not eating or drinking. Prominent signage is being posted to promote social distancing and other hygiene practices. Vendors must have a sanitation station in their booths to use between transactions.
If you feel ill or uncomfortable attending the market, you are encouraged to stay at home and check out Market Connection, a tab on the Columbus Farmer’s Market website featuring vendors who have provided contact info for their business to the public.
Ample parking is available and the city bus stops just one block away at Second and Lafayette Streets.
