COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) continues to investigate a fatal stabbing that occurred at the Quail Run Apartments, in the 1000 block of Robert Drive, early Tuesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the Columbus apartment complex and when they arrived, an adult male with multiple stab wounds was found. The victim was transported to Columbus Regional Health where he died of his injuries a short time later.
During the course of the investigation, Daniel J. Denny, 19, of Columbus, was arrested. The suspect was remanded to Bartholomew County Jail and charged with murder, a Level 1 felony. He remains incarcerated on a 48-hour hold as CPD detectives continue their inquiry.
