COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Regional Health (CRH) announced on Tuesday its plans to expand visitor options.
Each inpatient or person receiving an outpatient service at the hospital will be allowed up to two designated visitors/support persons at the same time, including COVID-19 positive patients.
However, the CRH visitation policy for the Birthing Center and mental health patients will remain unchanged.
The changes in visitor options will be incorporated with continued safety protocols and guidelines, including mask requirements. Visitors still need to pass a screening and wear a face-covering. Also, visitors of COVID-positive and highly suspected COVID patients will be advised to wear a PAPR (powered air-purifying respirator).
