GREENWOOD, Ind. – Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers has launched his 2023 reelection campaign. The Republican made the announcement during this year’s State of the City address on Thursday.
“Serving as mayor of Greenwood is the greatest honor of my professional career,” said Myers. “Greenwood is now one of the safest cities in Indiana. We also have a track record of fiscal responsibility, low taxes, job growth, and improved quality of life. We have done a lot of great things, but our work is not complete.”
Among his accomplishments, Myers has grown the city’s cash reserves, eliminated Greenwood’s structural deficit, and presented balanced budgets every year.
Myers, a former Greenwood Police Department officer and detective, has served as mayor since 2011. He is a member of several local and state committees and boards.
