FRANKLIN, Ind. – Leadership Johnson County is holding a workshop, Emotional Intelligence: Learning When (And When Not) To Press The Pause Button, on Friday, May 6, at 9 a.m., at the Johnson County Armory, in Franklin.
Facilitator Susan Rozzi says, “I have been seeing such a need for impulse control these days; leaders taking the time to think before they speak or friends not posting so quickly to social media. Impulse Control is one of the key skills of emotional intelligence. It is the ability to control an urge, resist temptation, and delay gratification.”
Registration is required. Tickets are $49 per person for Leadership Johnson County Signature Program graduates, Franklin College alumni, Franklin and Indy Chamber of Commerce members, and Aspire members. General public pricing is $59 per person. Group discounts are available.
This workshop is sponsored by Modern Realty Group. For more information or to register, visit www.leadershipjohnsoncounty.org or email Bea Northcott at bnorthcott@franklincollege.edu.
