COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) has announced a six-year, $100,000 partnership with Columbus Auto Group as the new exclusive Automotive Partner Advertiser of BCSC.
The collaboration is exclusively for athletic programs. The monies will go to all BCSC schools, not just Columbus North or Columbus East High Schools. The kickoff of the partnership will take place at the East-North football game on Friday, August 26.
Leo Portaluppi, president of Columbus Auto Group, said he believes in “Giving back to the community and his dealerships are happy to support the kids and in particular kids’ sports in Columbus.”
BCSC Superintendent Dr. Jim Roberts added, “This allows our sports programs to do additional things. A lot of the extracurricular sports activities are self-funded and it is great to have community investors and businesses that are willing to promote programs and provide dollars to those systems.”
