BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — UPDATE: As of 2:30 p.m., the water has been restored and the main was repaired. There will be a water boil advisory for Elizabethtown only until Tuesday, September 20, at 2 p.m., according to EBWC.
Original: Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) is currently experiencing a water outage in the Elizabethtown, Grammar, and Scipio areas.
Crews are in the process of repairing the water main that was damaged, according to an EBWC spokesman.
Once water service is restored, those affected will be under a water boil advisory for the following 48 hours.
