COLUMBUS, Ind. – The National Weather Service (NWS) has announced that most of south-central Indiana, including Bartholomew County, is under a slight risk for severe weather on Thursday.
The main hazards indicated by NWS are damaging winds, small hail, and frequent lightning. Forecasters say that the rain will begin late Wednesday night and continue through Thursday night.
The timing of the severe weather is expected to be from mid-morning Thursday through the afternoon.
