COLUMBUS, Ind. — UPDATE: Power has been restored after a fire at the Rocky Ford substation yesterday.

Nearly 2,000 customers in Bartholomew County experienced power outages on Friday afternoon.
Over 1000 Duke Energy customers and more than 750 Bartholomew County REMC customers were without power for a time due to issues with the Rocky Ford substation. Crews worked to restore power, which in some instances took up to four hours.
