SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) is asking for the public’s help with information about a fatal hit-and-run late Friday night.
Police received a report about an unconscious person lying in the road in the 600 block of S. Vine Street at around 10:45 p.m. SPD arrived to find a man exhibiting no signs of life.
A short time later, a call came in where a woman stated she and her father had been crossing the street when someone in a dark-colored car hit them and then left the scene without stopping, per SPD’s Lt. C.J. Foster.
The woman was treated for injuries to her face, hand, and leg, according to police. Investigators are withholding the names of the victims at this time.
