COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) announced the slate of nominees for the Teacher of the Year award earlier this month.
There were 19 individuals nominated, each one representing their building or program.
The 2023 BCSC nominees are:
- Becky Lawson: Schmitt Elementary, kindergarten
- Julie Caruso: Columbus Virtual Pathway, social studies
- Shellie Huff: CSA Fodrea Elementary, fourth grade
- Diana Roberts: CSA Lincoln Elementary, second grade
- Lisa Haines: Smith Elementary, STEM
- Krea Hill: Rockcreek Elementary, third grade
- Robin Kiel: Southside Elementary, third grade
- Shanon Martin: BCSC pre-K/early childhood, early childhood teacher
- Molly Fountain: Northside Middle School, social studies
- Jennifer Carroll: Columbus East High School, English
- Michelle Fee: Central Middle School, librarian
- Cari Renner: Richards Elementary, fourth grade
- Kevin Sweet: Taylorsville Elementary, fourth grade
