NORTH VERNON, Ind. – A female juvenile from Jennings County, Cora, was reported missing on Saturday afternoon, just south of Elizabethtown. She was located a short time later.
Deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, and several other surrounding agencies began looking for the missing 11-year-old in the area of 9250 North Jennings County Road 1000W. Several area residents also joined the search.
The juvenile had last been seen walking a dog in a wooded area east of Bartholomew County Road 600E.
Not long after the media reported the incident, there was good news. Cora and her dog were found safe and they were reunited with her family.
