COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bloomington-based Mother Bear’s Pizza is coming to NexusPark.
Current IU students and alumni recognize Mother Bear’s for its award-winning pizza. In 1982, People Magazine selected them as “one of America’s top nine pizzas.” The restaurant also offers wings, salad, and pasta dishes.
Mother Bear’s Pizza opened in 1973, with a second location added on Bloomington’s west side in November 2016.
The new pizza place will occupy 9,015 square feet of space and will be located next to Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurant. The expected opening date is March 2024.
