FRANKLIN, Ind. – Johnson County law enforcement conducted a three-day Child Solicitation Sting from November 28 to November 30, resulting in 21 arrests.
Investigators began orchestrating the raid several months ago resulting in numerous people coming to meet what they believed to be a 14 or 15-year-old child.
This particular investigation took place in the 300 block of East Countyline Road in Greenwood.
The agencies assisting in the sting operation included the Bargersville Police Department, Edinburgh Police Department, Franklin Police Department, Greenfield Police Department, and the United States Secret Service.
On Tuesday, November 28, nine people were booked into the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Jail:
- Mario Ramirez Godinez, 52, of Thorntown, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
- Davinder Singh Saini, 64, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony
- Scott Douglas Merrill, 57, of Westfield, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
- Rudy Joel Matute Cabrera, 21, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony
- Omar Morales Sabino, 30, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony
- Ivan Cabrel Kamgain Tayou, 21, of Indianapolis, for three counts of Dissemination of Harmful Matter (Pornography), a Level F6 Felony
- Manish Sharma, 38, of Carmel, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony, and Making Unlawful Proposition, Class A Misdemeanor
- Darrel L. Hutchings Jr., 46, of Southport, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony, Dissemination of Harmful Matter (Pornography), a Level 6 Felony, and Making Unlawful Proposition, Class A Misdemeanor
- Harold C. Davis Jr., 52. of Parkersburg, West Virginia, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
The following were busted on November 29:
- Carl Deveier Wemple, 45, of New Palestine, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
- Roger Lee Stephens, 57, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony, and Dissemination of Harmful Matter (Pornography), Class B Misdemeanor
- Mark Timothy Reyher, 46, Terre Haute, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor
- Za Mang, 29, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony
- Brandon E. McClintic, 46, of Bargersville, for Dissemination of Harmful Matter (Pornography), a Level 6 Felony, Possession of Paraphernalia, C-Misdemeanor, and Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 6 Felony
- Jose Anselmo Sanic Lopez, 25, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony, Making an Unlawful Proposition (Prior), a Level 6
Felony, and Operating While Never Received License, Misdemeanor - Marcelo Ruiz Villegras, 27, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
The final five were arrested on November, 30:
- Miquel Angel Flores Garcia, 27, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony, and a Shelby County Warrant
- Mark Robert Rouleau, 52, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
- Brad T. Schwenzer, 45, of Bargersville, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
- David R. Dickinson, 65, of Greenwood, for Child Solicitation, a Level 4 Felony
- Naim IBN Salaam, 24, of Indianapolis, for Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony
