INDIANA – Many users of the popular telecommunications company Verizon Wireless started experiencing a service outage Thursday evening, May 30, with over 12,000 users nationwide reporting the problem on DownDetector.
The outage started around 6 p.m. in the Columbus area, and most service issues were resolved by 3 a.m. on Friday.
In a statement from Verizon, the company said it was, “aware of an issue impacting service for some customers” and that their “engineers are engaged and are working quickly to identify and solve the issue.”
