TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. – After issuing a Boil Water Advisory for the Mineral Springs addition due to a water main break on Tuesday, Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) says the same area was hit again on Friday. In both instances, another utility company damaged EBWC’s water main.
Company officials also stated that a water main was damaged at County Road 50N near Petersville. Water was restored shortly after the report of the outage.
There is now a Boil Water Advisory until Tuesday at noon for customers in both the Mineral Springs and Petersville areas. Any water consumed or used for cooking should be boiled for at least five minutes and cooled before consumption.
