COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Police Department (CPD) detectives are looking into a Sunday overnight robbery at a local convenience store/gas station, and are asking for the public’s help.
Officers were called to the Circle K, near Exit 64 of I-65, after the report of a robbery on Monday just before 4 a.m.
The initial investigation indicates a white man in his late teens or early twenties came into the store wearing jeans, a black sweatshirt with bleach stains, and a black ski mask. See a short video of the suspect in the store on the CPD Facebook page.
The man briefly displayed a handgun and got away with about $170 in cash. No one was injured.
