COLUMBUS, Ind. – Celebrating 40 years, Ethnic Expo is set for this Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days, outside Columbus City Hall.
The 2024 Ethnic Expo will honor all previous host countries, rather than having just one. This is a change from the tradition of selecting a single host country that had been in place since 1990.
The City Hall plaza acts as the main stage for Ethnic Expo. The performances and activities will be family-friendly and feature acts from all over the world.
Ethnic Expo salutes the traditions of more than 30 countries with native residents who live in Columbus. The festival was founded in 1984 to feature the city’s diverse ethnic heritage. About 25,000 to 35,000 people are expected to attend this weekend.
