FRANKLIN/GREENWOOD, Ind. – Aspire Johnson County, the county’s chamber of commerce and local economic development organization, has announced the finalists for its 2025 Women Leaders Awards.
Aspire offers these awards to celebrate outstanding leadership, impact, and advocacy for women in the workplace and beyond.
“Aspire is proud to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding nominees and their powerful impact on business success,” said Aspire Vice President of Investor Development/Relations Angela Vandersteen. “Our local businesses continue to foster supportive environments where women leaders can thrive, lead, and advance. We’re excited to spotlight the organizations and individuals driving the community’s success.”
The award categories are:
- Champion of Women Award: honoring an organization that actively empowers women in leadership, fosters career growth, and creates opportunities for success.
- Woman Leader of the Year Award: recognizing a trailblazing woman who has made a powerful impact as a leader, influencer, and ally in her company or organization.
Finalists by award category are:
- Champion of Women – AECOM Hunt, Clarity of Central Indiana, Girls Inc. of Johnson County, Modern Woodmen of America, and Tilson HR.
- Woman Leader of the Year – Jessica Evans with Allies Inc., Brandi Greenleaf-Barnes with Raymond James, Deana Haworth with Hirons, Pamela McNealy Powell with AECOM Hunt, Anne Schenk with Johnson Memorial Health, and Sonya Ware-Meguiar with Girls Inc.
Aspire will reveal the award winners during its Women Leaders Workshop on March 5. As Johnson County’s leading business association, Aspire views the Women Leaders Workshop as a vital platform to honor women’s contributions to business while providing valuable leadership training.
The Aspire 2025 Women Leaders Workshop is presented by Johnson Memorial Hospital and the awards program is presented by Ageless Aesthetics and VisionQuest Eyecare.
