NORTH VERNON, Ind. – There will be a “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” at the Park Theatre Civic Centre in North Vernon on Saturday, March 29, as Terry Lee Ridley and the Million Dollar Band perform at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
“International Piano Pumping Sensation” Terry Lee Ridley has rocked the Park Theatre several times, taking the stage annually by popular demand. He and his Rockaboogie group perform a lineup of classic Jerry Lee Lewis tunes, including “Great Balls of Fire.” “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “All Shook Up,” and, of course, “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On.”
His visual style is spot-on as he performs the honky-tonk and rockabilly sounds of the 1950s. Ridley dons period-piece clothing and dances to the beat, all while keeping his fingers on the ivories.
Tickets are available in advance at the Park Theatre box office and will be sold at the door on the night of the concert. The box office, located at 25 N. Madison Ave., is open from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
