COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Human Rights Commission (CHRC) has announced its Executive Committee Officers for the 2025-2026 term.
The 11-member Board of Commissioners elected the officers at its February monthly meeting and their appointments start on April 1 for a one-year term.
Chairperson Mike Champlin, who joined the Commission in 2020, is currently serving his second year in this leadership role. A retired engineer, he spent thirty (30) years at Cummins and previously worked at Motorola.
Vice-Chairperson Deanne Annandale joined CHRC in 2024. She has 20 years of legal experience and is now a legal consultant at Elwood Staffing in Columbus.
Secretary Joseph Joyner began at the Commission in 2024 and serves as the HR Generalist for the Bartholomew County Public Library. He has a background in social services and case management.
Treasurer Amanda Roggow has served on the Commission since 2022 and is now in her third term as its Treasurer. She has over a decade of experience as the Grants and Data Compliance Manager for Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.
