BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The Bargersville Police Department (BPD) has announced that its newest team member is K-9 officer, Chase.
The spirited police dog was rescued from the Morgan County Humane Society and has now found his calling in law enforcement.
Officer Josh Wheat will handle K-9 Chase and they will work together to keep the community safe.
This opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Redemption Ranch K9 Rescue. A BPD spokesperson said, “Their dedication to giving dogs like Chase a second chance has made a huge impact, and we’re grateful for their partnership in helping us bring this special K9 to our department.”
Chase’s journey with the Bargersville Police Department began last week.
