EDINBURGH, Ind. – The National Weather Service (NWS) says a Flood Warning is in effect until Tuesday evening for the Driftwood River near Edinburgh. Minor flooding is forecast.
Lowland flooding will begin along portions of the Driftwood River in northern Bartholomew County near County Road 950N to the Double Y Saddle Club. The flood stage for the Driftwood River in that area is 11.0 feet.
At 10:30 a.m. on Monday, NWS said the stage was 10.5 feet and was expected to rise above flood stage on Monday evening and crest at 11.3 feet, just after midnight.
It should fall below the flood stage on Tuesday morning.
