COLUMBUS, Ind. – The three-part Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC) series, First Fridays for Families, continues next month in downtown Columbus. The free programs introduce young audiences to performing arts in a lively and accessible environment.
The next free event is Swan Lake on Friday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m. at The Commons. Doors open at 5:00. Swan Lake, performed by Dancers Studio, Inc., is a tale of love, magic, and betrayal.
“We’re thrilled to bring back this free, beloved community program,” said Columbus Area Arts Council Executive Director Brooke Hawkins. “It’s a chance for families to come together and enjoy the magic of live entertainment.”
First Fridays for Families is made possible through the support of the Nugent Foundation and the Custer Foundation, with additional backing from the City of Columbus.
The final program in this spring’s First Fridays for Families series is scheduled for May 2.
